Othello (A Staged Reading)

By: William Shakespeare

One of Othello’s main themes Melissa decided to focus on is manipulation. Because the production was a staged reading rather than a full-length performance, the challenge was to engage the audience in the dialogue. Melissa decided to use solid colored costuming and each character was assigned a different color to reflect character status, motives, and emotions.
